Ehningen, 27. May 2025 – After more than four decades in leading positions, the previous Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Dietmar Bichler, is stepping down from his position on June 30, 2025. The Management Board acknowledges his life’s work with great respect and gratitude.
Dietmar Bichler, the long-standing Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bertrandt AG, informed the Management Board on May 26, 2025, that he will resign from his position as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bertrandt AG with effect from the end of June 30, 2025. The Supervisory Board and its Personnel Committee will deal with Dietmar Bichler’s successor.
“There is a time for everything – after more than 40 years of living and working for and with Bertrandt, now is the right time for me to prioritize my personal life and focus on my family.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to all Bertrandt employees and all customers for our work together and for the trust they have placed in us,” said Dietmar Bichler.
Dietmar Bichler joined Bertrandt in 1982. In 1996, the year of the IPO, he was appointed to the Management Board of Bertrandt AG in Tamm with responsibility for Technology, Sales and Human Resources, and from 2001 he led the company as Chairman of the Management Board until his move to the Supervisory Board in 2019. Under his leadership, Bertrandt grew from a small engineering office into an international group with 50 locations worldwide and around 13,000 employees. Today, the Group is one of the world’s leading engineering companies.
On behalf of the entire Bertrandt Group, the Management Board – Dr. Andreas Fink, Michael Lücke and Markus Ruf – paid tribute to Dietmar Bichler’s lifetime achievements and expressed their special thanks to him.
