HCLTech, a leading global technology company, and Astemo Cypremos, Ltd. (“Cypremos”), a subsidiary of Astemo, Ltd. specializing in software and cloud services, announced a partnership to advance innovation in the autonomous and smart vehicle ecosystem.

As part of the multi-year engagement, HCLTech will leverage its global leadership in engineering to help Cypremos transition to a software-defined model using a comprehensive suite of HCLTech’s proprietary next-gen smart vehicle enablers.

HCLTech’s end-to-end software testing platform TestSphere will accelerate software-defined vehicle development for Cypremos by reducing hardware dependency and speeding up validation. HCLTech will build flexible data systems to speed up the creation of self-driving and driver-assist technologies. HCLTech will use its GenAI-led service transformation platform, AI Force, along with custom AI tools to boost software quality and system performance. Additionally, HCLTech’s suite of intelligent cloud engineering solutions, Cloud Bridge, will provide real-time, multicloud validation environments that boost development speed and reliability.

“Our shared commitment to solving the growing complexity of software development made this partnership possible. Together, we are confident in delivering solutions that will empower the automotive industry to fully embrace SDVs and harness the full potential of cloud technologies,” said Takeshi Mitamura, President and CEO of Cypremos.

“Our collaboration with Cypremos marks a pivotal step in reshaping the automotive software landscape. With our integrated platforms and deep domain expertise, we are driving automotive innovation in collaboration with Cypremos, enabling the delivery of safer, smarter and more adaptive vehicles at scale,” said Masayuki Nakayama, Senior Vice President and Country Head of Japan at HCLTech.

The HCLTech-Cypremos engagement is expected to support millions of end users across 150 countries. Early pilot programs have demonstrated significant reduction in validation cycle times and enhanced return on investment.
